Something New and A WAA Sneak Peak

I found a tutorial to make these cute little flowers over at Nicole's blog.
They are super cute and super easy to make.
And they are a great way to use up those flowers that happen to be lying around in your stash! Here is the full layout - one of Darcie looking ever so relaxed. It's so tough being a baby isn't it?
I'll leave you with a little sneaky peek at my layout for August's Challenge at What's Ad About?!? All will be revealed tomorrow! How exciting!!

Thanks for stopping by :)

52 Pick Up

Well, we are up to challenge 30 in 52 Pick Up at LSBS. This weeks challenge, set by Kerryn, was to create a whymsical style layout and use bunting (the 'flags' at the top of the layout). So here is mine:

I have used some cute My Little Shoebox pp and die-cuts on this one. I haven't done a lot of doodling on my layouts lately so thought I would bring it back!!

Don't forget there is only a few days until the first challenge is up at What's Ad About?!?. All will be revealed on August 1. And don't forget that you can win a RAK just by signing up as a follower!

Something to Share...

I have a couple of scrapping projects to share. The first is my entry for this months Puzzle Sketches. I am loving anything Cosmo Cricket at the moment!!

This next one is for challenge 29 of 52 Pick Up at LSBS. The challenge was to create a sign/door hanging and use up old bits of stash. I made some door signs for the girls using an old Kaiser wooden album.

And finally a 'just because' layout of my little man (who is not really a little man anymore - he'll be 5 in a few weeks!! Eeek!):
Oh and I had a little win for my 'Mad As A Hatter' layout at LSBS's July Cybercrop!! Pretty chuffed with that!

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by....

LSBS Cybercrop

I have managed to get a few things done for the cybercrop over at LSBS this weekend. This one is for Tash's challenge - photos of someone being silly, 'Mad as a Hatter' as the title and tongue in cheek journalling. Here is my layout of Lachlan - yes another one of him pulling silly faces!

This one is the sketch challenge by Kerryn. I'm still using up my Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday papers. ;)
And finally the card sketch challenge. This is a card I have made for some friends who recently had a surprise wedding.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by....

Two Months

My Goodness! I feel like she will be 18 and leaving home before we know it at this rate! LOL

Here is a layout to celebrate the milestone:
And here are some pics of our gorgeous girl:

She still gets very windy but she is almost sleeping through so I can't really complain about that!
And here is another layout. This one is for challenge 28 of 52 Pick Up at LSBS. We had to create an all white layout.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend....

Cybercropping at Scrap Therapy

I signed up for the cybercrop over at Scrap Therapy this weekend with the intention of getting the challenges done. Sadly I have only managed one. :(

This layout is for Nic's sketch challenge with the additional criteria of some 'lumpy bumpy' ribbon. So here is my layout - I have used Cosmo Cricket paper and chipboard stickers. How cute are they?!!

Tweet Tweet!

And no, it doesn't have anything to do with Twitter! LOL It's a scrappy share - a Kaiser birdhouse. I have made it to go in Darcie's room. I am just loving the new Lemonade range from BG - it's so sweet and girly!

Some More Scrapping :)

This one is for Challenge 27 of 52 Pick Up - scrap a photo of an object (no people or animals) and use groups of 3. The object I scrapped was Michala's dolly and my groups of 3 were the bling around the border and some doodled hearts around the photo. We were also reminded that we are supposed to be using up bits of our old stash so I pulled out these Bella! chipboard letters for the title.
This next one is a 'just because' layout. I just love the look on Lachlan's face in this photo - I so understand why he is making the face he is! LOL
That's all I have to share for today. Thanks for stopping by...

Scrapping My Girl

Here is my layout for this months challenge over at Scrap The Girls. The challenge is to use this colour combo and create a layout:

I just love the combination of pink and orange. It's just so girly! And this is my layout:

I'm aiming to get some layouts done while Miss Darcie has her late morning sleep. I rush around like a mad woman in the morning to do my household 'chores' so that when she is in bed I can scrap without feeling guilty! LOL

Horse Riding Misadventure!

I have been saying to Luke for a while now that he should saddle up the old horse so the kids can learn how to ride. So yesterday morning he did just that. He bought the horse down to the house yard and put them on.

He was leading them around the yard and the kids were having a ball!

And then it all went a little pear shaped! Luke let go of the lead rope so that he could move some of the kids toys out of the way. The old horse walked off and went right under a tree. Both kids were knocked off and landed quite hard on the ground! Michala ended up with a mouth full of leaves and some scratches on her face. Lachlan wasn't hurt but was a bit stunned I think. He was wary of hopping on the horse in the first place and then this happened! I was just thankful that they were both ok! They got back on the horse later in the day and were fine.

I'll leave you with a layout I did today using some BG Lime Rickey goodness:

Happy Saturday and thanks for stopping by...

I'm On A Roll!

Two layouts in two days! Darcie is much happier today so while she was sleeping and the other 2 were down the paddock with Dad, I scrapped! This is for challenge 26 of 52 Pick Up - use complementary colours from the colour wheel plus up to 2 neutral colours. I went with a purple and yellow colour scheme. For some reason purple is a colour I find usually hard to scrap with but I have plenty of old purple stuff in my stash. I love finally using up old stuff!

Hope you all have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by...

Some Scrapping

Just a quick little scrappy share. This is challenge 25 of 52 Pick Up at LSBS - use NO adhesives (except for thickers etc but only minimal). I have machine stitched, hand stitched and used brads to attach 'stuff'.

I have a very unsettled baby today. :( Don't know what's wrong but hope she is feeling better soon so I can put her down and get something done!
