Have You Ever....

had one of those scrapping days where nothing goes right? Well that has been my day today. This weeks 52 Pick Up Challenge at LSBS was to create a concertina album inside a keepsake box. Sounds easy enough, right? Wrong! Everything I did just wouldn't work - so I'm not all that happy with the result. I used an old Making Memories die-cut box - it has a transparent window in it. I painted the box (with 3 coats of paint which I did last night so that it could dry) and then set about decorating it. The paint started peeling off in places, then I couldn't get the title to fit (and to lift it meant more paint coming off! :( Grrr) and then when I had finally finished the album inside I stuck it too close to one edge and it doesn't fold out properly! I think I should have stayed in bed this morning. LOL

The only positive about this project are the fantastic pics of it from my new camera! (Which I am totally in love with by the way!) So I'm thinking I may just pack my scrap stuff away and try again tomorrow.
